WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA – 2023
Please call Wreath Across America (WAA) at 877-385-9504 between the hours of 7:30 am and 8:30 p.m. M-F if you have questions, encounter problems, or to place an order. They are very patient and very helpful. To order wreaths through their website please follow the instructions below.
1. Make sure you are on the official Wreaths Across America (WAA) website: (www.wreathsacrossamerica.org) Click on “Home” and none of the other options. On the homepage you will see a picture of a family placing a wreath on a headstone
2. On the homepage you will also see off the right top of the page a “magnifying glass” – click on it and a small drop-down box will appear – click on the red box that indicates “SEARCH SPONSORSHIP GROUPS”
3. The next screen begins with “Search by”- click on “Locations” and type in the box provided “Tallahassee National Cemetery” and then click on the red box “SEARCH”.
4. “FLTNCT” and its information will appear on a new screen. Scroll all the way down (past the blue map) and at the very bottom of that page on the right-hand side click on the red box “VIEW OUR GROUPS”.
5. Select the sponsor group (there are two pages) you wish to support based upon the following information. Sponsors/organizations are of two types:
· Organizations with an assigned ID # ending with a “P”. These organizations are those who use the WAA website and wreath purchases as part of their fundraising efforts. These “P” organizations receive $5 from WAA for each wreath ordered. The cost of each wreath is $17.
· Organizations with an assigned ID # that does NOT end with a “P” have chosen not to receive $5 per wreath ordered. These organizations have elected the option whereby for every two wreaths ordered, WAA provides a third wreath. The third wreath will be sent to the cemetery identified – the TNC. Purchasers are not able to designate a different cemetery for the third wreath that was designated for the first two.
· NOTE: Organizations that may appear on the site but do not have an ID # assigned cannot be selected. Those organizations remain on the website but have not renewed their participation or have not updated their information.
6. When you have identified the sponsor/organization as identified on the pages described above, click on the red box “SPONSOR”.
7. The sponsor/organization selected and the Tallahassee National Cemetery will be identified on the next page. To order wreaths you should click on the red box “SPONSOR A WREATH”.
8. You should now be on the page to order as many or few wreaths as you can afford; make your selection, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on the red box “Add To Cart”. Proceed with instructions on paying for your wreaths. There will be no indication on your order but if you selected a NO “P” sponsor and ordered two wreaths the WAA system will recognize your order as a “3 for 2” order and 3 wreaths will be coded for shipment to the Tallahassee National Cemetery (TNC). Likewise, if you selected the option to order 4 wreaths, TNC will receive 6 wreaths and if you ordered 5 wreaths the TNC will receive 7 wreaths.
Reminder: You can call Wreaths Across America for assistance at 877-385-9504 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. M-F and place your order. They are very patient and very helpful. November 27 is the last day to order wreaths. Please order soon and often.
The Wreaths Across America Ceremony will be at 12 noon (arrive early) on December 17, 2023, at the Tallahassee National Cemetery. We look forward to seeing all of you.
