Weekly Report 🗞️
Comfort Keepers | Operation Comfort Carolina | Major John Haynes Sign | Holidays for heroes | K9's for Warriors
Happy Sunday you outstanding Americans!
Here is your weekly report.
Before you read the good stuff, please take a moment to read the statement below.
The Commanders Coalition is a publication dedicated to amplifying support provided by Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs). There are many VSOs in Tallahassee and across the nation. Our coalition has been meeting almost exclusively at American Legion Sauls-Bridges Post 13 since its inception, though this may change in the future if we outgrow our current space. For now, most members seem to enjoy the present meeting location.
The Commanders Coalition is not a program or extension of the American Legion; rather, we serve as a voice for VSOs as a whole. We do not favor any particular VSO, and all have a seat at the table. Each VSO has the right to share their news and events through this publication. Many members of the Commanders Coalition are affiliated with multiple VSOs.
K9’S FOR WARRIORS “HOWL AT THE MOON” IS BACK ON THE CALENDAR
❄️ Operation Comfort Carolina is an ongoing success.
Thank you to everyone who has participated and continues to participate. Here is some photo’s taken today. Special thanks to Tallahassee Harley Davidson for taking our donations to North Carolina.

Nicole Dempsey from the VA in Tallahassee is inviting VSOs to set up a table to share information with the 20+ Veteran employees who work at the facility. The event will be held at the training facility on November 6th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Please contact Nicole.Dempsey@va.gov for more information.
