Here’s something for you to read while you’re sitting in traffic.
Honor flight is having a car show, tomorrow, Saturday, 10/19, at the Moose Lodge, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 🚗🚙
Before you head to the Car show, be sure to stop by American Legion Sauls-Bridges Post 13 to drop off a donation for Operation Comfort Carolina.
Rodney Keener will be accepting donations from the hours of 10AM to 12PM every Saturday except November 2nd, until the 6th of November.
TALLAHASSEE VA CLINIC
New hours for the VA Clinic are 7:30 am – 4:30 pm. You can get your flu shot at the Flu Clinic between 1-3 pm (at the walk-in clinic).
REGISTRATION OPEN FOR TALLAHASSEE VETERANS DAY PARADE
This year theme is Purple Heart. Please decorate your parade entries with purple and gold to honor Purple Heart medal recipients.
The Purple Heart is a heart-shaped medal that is awarded to members of the U.S. Armed Forces who have been wounded, killed, or died while serving. It is the oldest military award in the United States.

Paychecks for Patriots Hiring Fair – Tuesday, November 5th
Veterans and eligible dependents are invited to join CareerSource Capital Region at it’s 2024 Paychecks for Patriots Hiring Fair. Meet with more than two dozen veteran friendly employers looking to hire as well as meet with organizations serving veterans and providing resources!
9:00 am - 10:00 am is open exclusively to military veterans, eligible dependents, active duty and reserve components.
10:00 am - 12:00 Noon is open to general public.
