Dear All:
Out of respect for our fellow Floridians and those who are preparing for the impact of Hurricane Milton, which is now predicted to be a direct hit with potentially devastating impact on our state, we have decided to indefinitely postpone our Howl at The Moon for K9s event originally scheduled for this coming Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at The Moon. We will decide on a new date once it is appropriate.
We are so grateful to our First Responders, Florida National Guard, Law Enforcement and all of our service organizations and citizens who are currently in preparation for this storm and who will be ready to provide assistance and relief to those who will be most affected.
Please do what you need to do to stay safe, evacuate if advised to do so, and take care of your loved ones and pets in advance of this storm.
I am beyond words to express my appreciation to all of you who have played a major role in getting this event off the ground and into reality. We are so grateful for the many contributors, monetary and in-kind, who have helped us exceed our initial expectations. This setback will not affect our forward momentum; we are just taking a pause. We will continue our planning and preparations and let you know when we have set a new date.
